Why have you opened my account on an estimated reading?

When you start being supplied by us we'll send you an email reminder asking for your first meter reading. This is usually sent on the day we start supplying you. If we don't receive a reading within 5 days of this we have to estimate your first reading. The estimate is based on information collected from your meter with your existing supplier, so if you've provided your previous supplier with meter readings, it is usually fairly accurate.

From time to time we do get estimated readings that aren't as accurate as we'd like. If this is the case, don't worry, it can be fixed. If you have a note of your opening meter reading contact us and we'll arrange for your account to be updated.
